HACIENDA ARAUCANO SYRAH
HACIENDA ARAUCANO (Chile) is part of the French group FRANÇOIS LURTON, with possessions in France, Spain, Portugal, Chile and Argentina. Luca Hodgkinson, technical director and oenologist of the Chilean (Hacienda Araucano) and Argentinean (Bodegas Lurton) wineries, introduced a new style of fresher and more mineral wines in both countries. Continuing this idea, he is now working organic and will go, step by step, to biodynamic. The Hacienda Araucano just released a new wine, a Reserva syrah 2009 from coastal vineyards in the Lolol region. It is a fruity, fresh, juicy and mineral wine with a great potential and a wonderful value for money. Go for it!
